La Empresa Pública Cuerpo de Bomberos del GAD Municipal de Zamora, fue creada mediante ordenanza de Fecha 21 de Agosto de 2015 y publicada en el registro Nº 388 edición Especial de 05-11-2015.
Constituyéndose en una empresa de labor y servicio a la ciudadanía, cuya finalidad es socorrer y atender en casos de desastres y emergencias.
